First day of kindy!

Lily started at kindy yesterday. She was greeted by a very excited Jack (above), who will go the same two days as Lily. Her teachers Janine (above) & Misty are really really lovely and caring.

They told me that Lily danced to Enya, and she told Misty that she was "dancing like a ballerina". Misty and some other kids joined Lily and danced around the room.

Then Jack and Lily grabbed the feather dusters and danced and busily dusted the room - obviously infuenced by his mum Michelle's and my impeccable cleaning habits!

Her & Jack spent much of the day bouncing, and having running races outside. I picked her up after lunch and she was VERY cranky at not being able to stay and nap with the kids. She came home, had "mookie" and passed out, at only 1pm! (that's an early nap for her).

So today we are going to see how she goes having a nap there. Very exciting!

We're so lucky that Lily goes to such a wonderful centre. Its not-for-profit and managed by a parent committee, a very rare setup. Her name has been down there since I was 5 mths pregnant! Its lovely that's its all working out even better than we expected.
