Kindy muffins

Lily & I made muffins today, using the same recipe that they made at kindy a few weeks ago. Lily knew exactly what to do. They were yummy!

Recent fun times....

A lot has happened in the two weeks since Easter.

Daddy bought Lily a trampoline (in an effort to curb her bouncing on our bed!).





We visited baby Seanna with Manon...





Biku came to stay while his parents went to a wedding. Lily & Biku had heaps of fun...







And the next night, Lily had her first sleep over at Grandmamma's & John's, and Daddy and Mummy went on a date!



We're still loving having Fon stay with us....

An EGGScellent adventure!

This weekend we were lucky enough to spend Easter up at the Teakle-Hobba house, at Mt Glorious.



We all piled in the wagon and drove up the mountain. It was so great to get out of the city and breathe in the fresh air.

Bruce & Erika built their own house. Its run on solar power and they have tank water. No TV - hooray! Neighbours are few and far between. The number of stars in the night sky are amazing!



They are surrounded by rain forest - rain forest in which the Easter bunny lives!!



Daddy & Lily woke up, and somebody had visited in the night.....

The Easter Bunny left some more eggs in the garden...



We had a LOVELY time. We made Easter baskets, played Scrabble and went for a bush walk. Thank you for letting us stay Bruce, Erika & family!

Old house, new house...

We stumbled across a photo of the house before renovations (and before we had Lily). What a difference!

"We're all goin' to the Zoo, tomorrow...."

Fon, Lily & I went to Lone Pine Sanctuary on the weekend, so we could show Fon our amazing Australian wildlife. We caught the Mirimar boat from Southbank.



We passed the playground at Orleigh Park at West End...



...and then Daddy ran down to the river and waved to us! See, that's him, the tiny figure on the river bank!



We saw dingos, echidnas, beautiful birds, crocodiles and koalas. We also fed wallabies...



Lily fell asleep just as we took the last photo! She slept for the whole boat ride home. She had a great day. And we hope Fon did too!
