All kitted out...

With her new football boots, and her shin guards and Socceroos shirt, Lily is all set to start football this year! Goooooooooooal!

A very merry Christmas!

We just spent five days in a unit up at Peregian Beach, with Grandmamma, John, Chantal & Kyle.

Too much Christmas cheer?

After our big day at the art gallery, Lily was WAY too excited to have a nap - until she had a bag of cookies at 5.30pm and passed out on the couch!!! Notice the ingredients label on her toe. :-)

A Day with Manon

Yesterday Manon showed us around the kids section of the Asia Pacific Triennial exhibition, at the new Gallery of Modern Art.

After riding down on our bikes, Manon & Lily drew pictures (of lizards & aeroplanes, trees & religion, oceans & spirits), made foam people, jumped on Futon Island, got tattoos, had a picnic lunch and had babycinos. What a fun day!

Do you wear your undies on your head, on your head?

Where's Greg?

Lily & Mummy went to see the Wiggles this week. It was VERY exciting! We watched a sad video about Greg leaving the Wiggles (Mummy cried). I told her halfway through the concert - "Greg's sick".

We also saw Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus.

A fun day with Mira

Daddy looked after Lily and her friend Mira while their Mummys went to Kirsten's blessingway. They swung on the two inside swings, drew on the easel, played with the tea set, cracked macadamia nuts, jumped on the jumping castle, played in the sandpit, got pushed around on a toy dinosaur, chased each other around downstairs, weeded the garden, played in the cubbyhouse, played blocks and generally had HEAPS of fun!

Little house from the dairy

I made Lily a cubby house the other day out of cardboard boxes from the Pauls milk factory. She got busy cooking tomatoes!

A belated welcome to the world

Griffin John Caradog Jolly was born at 2.45pm GMT 13th November. Jacinta, Owen, Pippin and friends Bec & Ian's family experienced a challenging week in the lead up to his birth - their respective courage, patience and support were inspiring.

Here are some piccies of the gorgeous mama & babe...we can't wait to meet you little man!

The importance of accessorising

Lily & Harper did some creative accessorising at HMA (Home Midwifery Association) Support Group on Monday....! Notice Lily in a tutu for the FIFTH day in a row. :-)

Ho ho, OH NO! 20 sleeps to go!

Lily & Grandmamma put up the Chrissy tree on the weekend.

We've got Pa & Eva's box of presents under the tree, and Lily wants to open it every day!

Getting a bit of cul-cha

Yesterday we went to the People's Day launch of the new Gallery of Modern Art & State Library.

Lily, wearing her favourite ballet outfit (of course!), saw Popeyed, ate some yummy chicken kebabs (which have had some interesting nappy-based results over the last 24 hours), checked out the new buildings, hung out with Deb & Tyron, tried to touch various bits of artwork and generally had a ball! We can't wait to get back and explore more.

Goooooooooooooooooal! Seven-nil!

Daddy's football team was in the finals on Friday night and......they WON! 7-0!!! Daddy was as fast as lightening (as usual). Grandmamma took this photo on her new mobile:

His team got this great cup! I clapped when it was presented to him.

My friend Tyron & I kicked the ball. One day we are going to play for Australia.

This is a pic Grandmamma took of Mum, who was unawares and looking surprisingly sultry (if she does say so herself!):
